The Eco Dragon has emerged from his lair in The Mendip hills to show what can be done using recycled materials.
Made over the space of a month using 99% recycled materials, sourced  locally. The dragon is made from:-

Internal frame - Reclaimed marine ply, recovered from a building site and strengthened with steel.
Inner skin - Covering of plastic silage sheeting
(farm waste).
Outer Skin - Old tractor inner tubes
Scaly bits - Used motorbike and cycle tyres .
Claws - Carved from an old fence post
Beak and Tail Spike - Reclaimed plywood, coloured using old printer ink cartridges.
Tongue - A piece of old plastic pipe.
Eyes - Packaging from  a childs toy
Avatar inspired paint job done using acrylic "grafitti art" paint.
