New for 2011. Initially made for exhibition at Glastonbury Festival (Croissant Neuf Field)
Made over the space of 3 weeks from old wooden pallets with a mane made from shredded "bailer twine" and finished in fence paint as a preservative.
"The hardest job on this sculpture was the mane which was made by shredding thousands of individual pieces of bailer twine and thredding them into a piece of plastic netting. The job took a whole week. By the time it was finished I was dreaming of bailer twine in my sleep". |
