.jpg)
Mutha has come to highlight the waste we produce and the effect it has on our environment, greatly contributing to the spiraling , global extinction rate.
Mutha was made using found and reclaimed materials; The inner frame made from marine plywood, salvaged from a building site.
Used silage sheeting (farm waste) was used to make the waterproof inner skin.
The outer skin is made of old tractor inner tubes.
Her scales are made from hand cut tyres, some taken from hedgerows,
The claws and spurs are carved from an old fence post.
The teeth are made out of old plastic milk cartons and
Her eyes are made from christmas tree decorations which were painted to look more realistic.
The nest was made using bones found in the local woods and her eggs are made out of laminated plywood.
