Why I use recycled and reclaimed materials;
I believe that we all have a responsibility to take an active part in reducing our impact on the environment. Whether it be by reducing our energy consumption or reducing the amount of waste we produce. We can all play our part. For this reason , a few years ago I made the conscious decision to work, as far as possible, using recycled or reclaimed materials. Materials that are generally discarded or burned.
Why buy new materials when there are perfectly good ones waiting to be reused elsewhere?
I love the challenge of giving new life to old materialsChris has been working in recycled materials for a number of years now, creating pieces ranging from table top sized natural forms to huge lifelike creatures.
